decent opportunities in the opening minutes.

It was looking like a comfortable victory for the blues who had dominated throughout the match and took their chances well.
The Tangerines showed some resilience towards the end and managed to score a consolation goal for the fan’s delight. Beattie played a lovely one-two with Brett Ormeord, before playing it for Puncheon, who finished a sweet low shot past Cech to make it 1-3.
The hosts came close of scoring another, deep into the stoppage time but the Blues managed to hold onto to their lead and won the game 3-1.
Blackpool will take on Blackburn Rovers in their next fixture on 19th March, while Chelsea will host Manchester City on 20th March.
