  1. 1. any like neon color

    2. floss threaders, a tooth brush, dental wax, a little brush that gets inbetween ur braces to clean them, and floss (and other stuff. all dental kits r different)

    3. it does get thicker. but only a little. sumtimes they only tighten the bottom or top

    4. everyone needs spacers for about a week before they get their braces. u need one so there can be a little gap to hold a metal spacers. (the metal spacer holds the braces)

    good luck!! :)

  2. 1. silver is the most noticeable, but they may use gold colored depending on where you live.

    2. a little case of wax to use on sharp wires or brackets  and a cheap orthodontic tooth brush you use until you get one for your self.

    3. it depends on what needs to be done, you will probably start on with a thin but strong wire

4.i got my spacer in the end of 2005, and then i got my braces in march of 2006. it just depends on what needs to move in order for the braces to work.

  3. the most noticable brace color is obvv. prob the one tht is oppisiite of u r outfittt.

in u r brace kit u get waxx (which rlly helpss) flos and sometimes tooth brush.

and uk if u need a spacer when u r edentist tells u?

gl with u r braces lol!

  4. 1. The normal colour - silver

    2. ASmall wax thing to keep them fresh and clean.

    3. Yes and they tell you when you get to the thickest one.

    4. I don't know. Sorry.

i don't have braces but my maytes doo

    xD

  5. 1.the most noticeable color is the dark colors, cause you can really see them. like purple and blue.

2.i've never heard of a brace kit, but usually the orthodontist gives you everything you need for the braces, like bands, wax and floss.

3.they usually dont thicken the wire every time you go, i think its like every other time, or every three. im not sure.

4.and if you need spacers, you probably would have gotten them already if your getting them on thursday, not every one needs them.

  6. Ugh i have braces they are not the most pleasent thing if you know what i mean. You either get silver braces, or ones with rubber bands on them, the most noticeible color is either dark blue or black, its really noticable, i have it on right now. Yea the wire gets thicker  every time you tighten it theres a lot of pressure and you can only eat soft foods for a couple of days, like 2.And as for number four your dentist will tellyou and give you your spacer.Good luck. After like a week you cant even feel them after a week. (P.S. if ur dentist tells you to wear rubber bandsWEAR THEM, you could get a really big overbite, Hope i helped  bye :)

  7. 1. I would guess the darker colors would be really noticeable, cause there darker and stand out more. And the lighter colors could get faded in color, and change colors sometimes. I went with light pink. But you always can change them.

    2. I got a magnet and poster of everything that could happen to my teeth, and stuff i could not eat. A lanyard. Wax. Mouthwash, toothbrush, coupons, pen. chap stick (and i really needed it after i got them on) dental floss, a timer, and something to clean out my braces with.

    3. Yea

    4. I have no clue. I guess your dentist can tell. I guess if they need more room in the back of your teeth you need them, i needed them, i think most people need them. So i probbly would be expecting them.

    Good Luck.

  8. It would be far easier if you asked your orthodontist hunni.

  9. 1.  Anything bright like red or pink or orange

    2. You get brackets, a special toothbrush/cleaner, and possibly rubber bands to go on you braces

    3. Yes, sometimes.

    4. You always get spacers before you braces, because the spacers make "space" for the brackets.

Trust me, it's not a big deal.

It doesn't really "hurt" it's just kind of a lot of pressure.

My advice would be this: While they are putting on your braces, they use this special glue.  Try your best to keep your tongue away!  I accidentally touched it with my tongue and it tasted HORRIBLE!

    lol.  good luck!
