Braces ^_^ or O_o!?

Question

my mouth is very small so one of my tooth turn out to be very twisted.......i'm 16 n have never been to a dentist n i wonder y i never been to one...........so now i'm planning to visit one cuz i want to fix my teeth. should i get braces? i'm afraid that it'll hurt cuz i'm old already n i'm not sure if the tooth will even budge back into position. my teeth r very small n my canines r very pointy, sometimes i wonder if i'm even a vampire

Braces can work at any age...your orthodontist will give you an estimate for how long it would take and you can make your decision based on that.

You need to visit a dentist anyway to check for cavities and tooth damage.

I agree with the above about invisalign. I never had them, but my friend does. His teeth are nice now!

Too bad I can't afford braces, or invisalign. My teeth are pretty bad, like vampire teeth. Good luck bud!

get invis-aline, thats what i use, they're like braces that you take out to eat, but leave on at all other times.  they're made out of a clear hardened plastic that you can see through, as your tooth/teeth aline, your orthadonist will make newer moldings.  it takes a little longer that braces, but there's no need to change your diet

when you go to the dentist, if they think the braces wont help, they might pull the tooth out to leave space for the other teeth. (not trying to scare you; and if they do pull it, it wont even hurt =]) good luck!

One one's ever sure if they need braces or not.And don't worry I've had braces before they hurt for a couple days and you'll wanna eat soft foods for a while but if you do get braces then before you go to get them on or just an appoinment you might just want to take a tylenol or ibeprofen before you go that's what I used to do but believe me they are no problem.

people get braces when their adults...you're not too young.  if you want to fix your teeth braces are totally worth it!! :) good luck!

definetly get braces. i had a very small mouth wen i was little, which is bad cause your teeth can overcrowd and not grow properly. braces do not hurt as much as you think. the only time they suck is the first week u have them on and the first week after u have to get them tighten. they don't hurt removing them. i say get them, and its not going to hurt more since you're older, it will actually hurt less since u can take much more pain than you could wen u were little.

braces can do wonders, i swear..

i have really straight teeth, but i have friends..

who have..eh... horrible teeth and after having braces they have amazing teeth. but from what i hear yeah they're gonna hurt at first and probably when you go tighten them but its all worth it! so you can have a gorgeous smile!!!
