Braces and surgry??????/?

Question

well I'm getting braces and surgery to fix on of my tooth that aren't in the right place

and my mom said that when i get the surgery I'm not going to be able to eat or do anything and its going to hurt

how long and how bad??

and do braces really hurt????

alot of people have told me and I'mervous about getting

braces and scared

Dude i had braces and surgery. It's painfull for like the first week after surgery and the first week after braces. then you'll get your braces tightened every month and your teeth will be tender for a few days. but i promise once it's over, every day is worth it. Everyone compliments my smile:D soo really, it's gonna hurt a bit, but its all worth it

Don't be scared about it dear, its for you good and for the pain your dentist's office will take care of the things. even after surgery you will be on medication so there will not be much pain. think about that beautiful smile you always wanted and now you are going to get it its just a few days and you will smile and eat again. If you really feel nervous about it talk to your dentist they will  help you out. As such you don't have to feel that way. look forward to your beautiful smile. and  keep smiling

I had surgery to move my canine that was in totally the wrong place but it went wrong and i had to have surgery again to take it out. I've had braces for 7 years and it really doesn't hurt as much as people make out. Its awkward yes, but it only feels like someones pressing on your teeth for the first few days til you get used to them, then it doesn't hurt at all. You can still eat! Theres certain things to avoid though like crisps and crunchy stuff, but you can still eat soft stuff.  I got through a lot of yogurts when i first got my braces.
