I've had them since last October and it's not just the 'normal' teeth wonky case.I had my adult canines buried in the roof of my mouth and my baby canines are still in my mouth and have held on because they (weirdly enuf) have tiny roots on them. I am 18 and went under general anaesthetic to have the adult teeth uncovered.Since then, the orthordontist had braced my teeth and gradully pulled the teeth towards the gap in which they will fill. Soon my baby canines will have to be pulled but on the right side of my upper teeth, the tooth right behind the canine is protruding its root like a 'washing board'Its gotten worse and worse and only now has the orthordontist decided to do something about it. The tooth is now trying to be pulled in but the root is still pushed dangerously out and I'm wondering has anyone had this problem and is there a possiblity that if the root shows through will it cause severe pain and will I loose the tooth? (its adult)I do get slight pain from it every now and then too... I'm worried to be quite honest.
