Braces...crooked tooth with retainer?

i got my braces off in grade 7 and im now in grade 11

i noticed in grade 9 that my one tooth in the front( the one big one in the middle) kept shifting and looked like it was going to over lap the other big tooth( like i would take my retainer out in the morning and in an hour or two it would shift back like that..and dont say im lying because thats what my orthodontist said but i proved that it didnt)

after going to my orthodontist about it the first time he gave me anew retainer and said for me to keep it on all the time for a month ( cept while eatting and brushing teeth) and then just wear it at night

so i did that but it did the same thing...so i did the same thing by myself i wore my retainer all the time for about a month and my tooth kept doing the same thing

my question is...to people out there that had a similar issue like this..what did your orthodontist do...did they put the permanent wire behind the teeth or did u have to get braces again or what...

its not super bad the shifting but its really noticeable and it just ruins my smile since its right in the front....

  1. Get a permanent wire retainer to hold it in place.
