Braces help please????

tomorrow around 8 in the morning(Agh) :)

i am gonna go get my braces fitted...what do you usually do when you get them fitted? dose it hurt?

Well, I'm not an orthodontist, so I can't say I'm a big expert or anything lol. But i have had braces for 4 months. Usually, they give u something to prepare ur teeth for the enamel, spread glue on ur teeth, fit the brackets, then shine a bright light to seal the brackets, thread wires in, add colors (sometimes; u can also just get silver; talk 2 ur ortho.) I would say that the pain/severe pressure after a half hour of braces, 10 being the highest, is about a 7 or 8. (trust me, in a more blunt answer, BRACES STINK!!! [MORE than extractions, by far.] ...)By the next day it's a 9 and 1/2, or a 10, and by the next day it's a 5 or 6...you should get used to them pretty quickly. Brush and floss a ton.. Make sure to eat a LOOOT of soft foods--yogurt, tomato soup and applesauce will become ur best friends, :] and i hope this answers your question! Good luck!!!

You mean get them on if so no it doesn't hurt the only thing i hate is this mouth thing they put in your mouth.

You will go in there they polish your teeth then they will put this stuff on your teeth that taste really bad then they clean that off after that they put the glue on your teeth one at a time and put the bracket on them after all the bracket are on then they will have the dentist come over and check and then they harding the glue after that they scrap some of the glue off if some is not cover from the bracket then they put on these bands on your back teeth then after that they harding the bands then they let you rinse your mouth out then after they put the wireds on and then you get to pick the colors it might hurt a little after you leave if so just take some pain med and that will help

Well it hurts a little bit. It depends on if you have strong teeth. They take this tool and they put it on your screws and they use the tool to twist, and tighten the screws. Thats how your braces get tightened. Sometimes it could hurt. But it doesn't hurt for long.

I'm getting mine off on monday. I've had them on for just under 2 years. If they are doing the mold no, if the are glueind the brackets on no, if they are putting on the wire and putting on the bracket yes.
