Braces off, and teeth?

yo. im 16 and have had my braces on since 14, getting them off in 3 days. my teeth have seemed small and i was wondering is that from my gums swelling around my teeth? and also what are some good ways to whiten my teeth afterwards?? thanks, 10 points best answer

well its because the braces are really big and it will make you mouth seem alot biger so thats it but yea its nice when there off have fun

Congrats, thats really exciting, I got my braces off about a year ago (im a sophmore) and it really depends on how well you took care of your teeth, because if you didn't brush them as much as you should for a little whiel there will be little white squares where your brackets use to be. But if you did tak good care of your teeth and braces then you shouldn't have much of a problem. But what I use is teeth whitening listerene instead of tooth paste, my dentist said all tooth paste does is act like food and stay on your teeth, but mouth wash doesn't, so use it and then scrub your teeth (all along the gum line) and then rinse, plus if you still want whiter teeth use crest whitening strips, they work really well. And have fun with your teeth freedom!

yo. ummmm it is probably the swelling and it probably looks worse than it really is only because  you have braces...and for whitening you can get it done by a dentist or something...ask  your orthodontist about someone he reccomends. YAY!! Youre getting your braces off!! Congrats.

when you get your braces off and you get your retainer there is this almost gel stuff that you can buy from your dentist that you just squeeze on to you retainer and than you have to keep it in for a certain time. which is cheaper.

it could be from swelling but maybe your teeth are just small or you think they are small cause of the braces, just wait and see.

as for whitening they dentist should clean your teeth so they look all natural and not like little squares of white. then just flaunt your perfect smill :D
