Braces on a tooth with bonding?

i have bonding on two of my front teeth. the dentist told me that he might be able to put the regular braces on those two teeth but if he cant he would have to put a metal bar type thing... does anyone have any info on this and what exactly does the metal bar look like. please tell me a website that has a picture of this so i can know what I'm getting myself into. thank you!!

Its a band instead of placing the braces on it, because the braces may not stick on the bonding, its similar to a band on your molar teeth.
