Braces or root canal?

Which one hurts more? Details and the reason why would also be great.

They are completely different scenarios!

Braces hurt because they put sustained pressure on teeth.  The "pain" is like having sore muscles after a hard workout.  After 1-3 days there is little if any pain.

Root Canal Therapy typically will leave a tooth tender to biting for 1-7 days because of many various reasons.  The pain that people associate with root canal therapy is often the infection that was there BEFORE the root canal therapy was performed.

Two different balls of wax, apples and oranges.  Both very needed and appropriate in their own right.

braces hurt but not as bad as a root canal. root canals hurt soo bad.

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT ASSOCIATED WITH INFECTION IN GENERAL IS HURT MORE THAN BRACES BUT IF ITS NOT ITS DID NOT HURT AT ALL

Braces are more painful & last for over 2 years. Root canal treatemnet does not hurt at all, after the shot & its fast.

braces dont hurt at all so im gonna go with root canal. (i have a high pain tolerance, so my opinion might not be good)
