  1. I have braces too, and when i first got them, i was in agony! For about the first week, you cant eat many solids. I suggest stick to yoghurt's, soup, noodles and ice cream. Ice cream is good because it sooths the gums :) Hope you feel better! x

  2. My grand daughter got braces last week and the Orthodontist said to give her Advil or the generic equivalent.  It definitly has helped.  She took it twice the first 2 days and now is taking it just at night so her teeth hurting don't keep her from sleeping.

  10. Take some ibuprofen if you aren't doing that right now. You can eat: Soup that isn't chunky. Bananas. Applesauce. Mashed potatoes. Yogurt. Jello. Rice. Couscous. Noodles. Smoothies.

Remember that whatever you eat, cut it into small pieces and chew carefully and slowly.

Also, you can check out this link http://www.mesothelioma-aid.org/recipes.... and try any of the "soft diet recipes"

    GOOD LUCK

  11. hey i had braces for 3 years and when i got them it was aweful, plus every time i had them tightened! (you have a lot to look forward to)

heres some of the things i ate:

popsicles (they are rly cold plus it helps to bit on something when ur teeth hurt)

sweet potatoes are rly soft and good :p

    jello and yogurt

    soup or rly soft noodles

it also helps if u chew on some ice, it hurts but it makes ur teeth feel better. kinda like a baby with its teeth coming in lol

  12. Zoodles, you don't need to chew at all you can just swallow them.

When I had my braces I lived off of zoodles.

Kraft Dinner also works really well if your looking for a full meal.

Also chicken noodle soup is quite nice.

These are just some I can think of off the top of my head.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
