Braces question?

So today I went to the orthodontist and she replaced the wire . she made like a shape with it? the shape part is like going into my gums. so can somebody please explain to me what this is?

    well my dentist call it "ring"

    its placed at the end part of your teeth(both upper and lower), its like the primary foundation of your braces so when the dentist make adjustments it would hold..

    i hope your teeth problem would be ok in moments time..

  4. umm idk either, my denist does a crosswire at the top but i dont know what your dentist did.

  5. IF  this shape was mad in the back back of ur mouth then its just called "tucking it in" it means that when u get a new wire it is just so it wont poke ur mouth and it should be tucked into ur gums!

    but if it doesnt hurt then its ok cuz i have mine like that too and the lady asked if it hurt and i said no cuz it didnt and she was like wow.
