Braces - teeth alignment shorter duration with extraction or without?

Question

I got braces 3 months ago, with no teeth extraction because my bottom teeth were far back then normal, the ortho was considering removing two teeth on the top to correct the bite (top teeth meet bottom) he said should take 20 months.

But after looking at my x-rays i could not have any teeth removed because they would of changed my face shape.

So know im having my bite corrected with no teeth extration?

Would you say this will take longer then 20 months or less?

Tell him to not pull out of your teeth. I think your ortho doesn't know what he / she is doing.

If I were you , I'd tell him to leave those two tooths alone.
