Braces:Are stains formed around the brace, or under neath the brace?

Im getting my braces off soon, and i was wondering of those of you who already got yours off, do you know if stains form around the brace or underneath it on the teeth?

my friend got hers off a month ago and you only get stains if you didnt brush your teeth well when you had them on but most the time there no stains,some people get them just because they had them on for a long time.

well its mostly even i mean you MIGHT have some stains more around them but it will even out fairly soon

around them but they will go away. if u didnt brush em that much and/or ate food u werent spose 2 u might find a white spot where the little square thing was. the rest of the tooth may be yellower. I am getting braces in three days.

the stains form around the braces not under them as long as they are still properly bonded to your teeth. They may form under the brackets if the cement has loosened.  The orthodontes should be able to polish your teeth after the bracets are off to even out the stains.
