I've had braces for over 2 months now, and I already notice the huge changes it has given me. I had an underbite before, and my ortho put two hard things on my back molars so I couldn't close my mouth all the way, and in over a month I noticed that my teeth had slowly processed their way to an overbite, and I got really excited. My top teeth are straight now, too, so that's good. In just about 2 months this has happened. On my first day my bracket got unstuck from the glue, and I was freaking out and went to the dentist again. I got that fixed, and went on my second month.
My ortho didn't put my bottom braces until my second month, and I he didn't apply brackets on my bottom four teeth at first for some reason, so I had that. My second month I was eating a small cucumber when I felt my bracket fall off my molar. I went back to the ortho and he glued it back on.
My third appointment I bit on a dorito and the same bracket that came off the month before came off and I went to the dentist again. He put the remaining brackets that needed to be put on (which was the bottom four brackets) and left it at that. Then until later that day I noticed that one of the newly-placed brackets unstuck from the glue and the tooth behind that bracket is crooked compared to the other four teeth that had the new brackets put on. I noticed again that he forgot to put the rubber band on the back molar that the bracket fell off from, so I dont know about that. This had all happened a few hours after I went to my orthodontist and now I'm freaking out because I have my next appointment in 2 weeks with a bracket that's unstuck one of my tooths and it's crooked, and I have a rubber band that's not placed on my back molar.
My orthodontist is 2 hours away due to financial reasons, so getting there every time I have a problem isn't always an easy task.
Is there a glue I can use to re-glue my bracket back that I can get at home, or what do you recommend I do until my appointment is due?
