  1. all the puffers, except for indian or dwarf, and salt water puffers like dog nose ect.

    some good ones are

    figure eight,

    arrow head

    spotted puffers.

they're super cute, and have great personalities.

assuming you want a brackish water tank you have some expierience keeping fish, and these guys take a bit of experience, but i promise it's very worth it.

  2. green spotted puffers

    archer fish

    scats (green, silver)

Those are probably the most easy to purchase. Many of the other ones you have to purchase online.

    Some plants that will work:

    Java moss

    Java fern

    Banana plant

    Sword plant

    Broadleaf Sword plant

  3. Mollies can be brackish water, some puffers, Violet gobies, scats, and colombian sharks, they are the most easy to come by.

  4. A molly. They can live in varying selietys from freshwater to brackish.

  5. Well if you ask me i would say scats & monos, but they schooling fish,   and get quite large, you would need a good sized tank say 350 liter

but the most common brackish water fish are mollies and guppies, they can be kept in marine tanks too!

there are also the more unusual tank mates like fiddler crabs, mud skippers, and the most unusual of all the four eyes (if you forgive the name!) these must have a piece of land though. Oh! and there are puffer fish to.(which are realy cool!).

Good luck with your brackish tank! and happy fishkeeping!

  6. Bull sharks can live for years in brackish water : )

  7. Some species of betta are brackish water fish and are readily available almost anywhere.
