  1. I reckon that, yes, Freddy is still great player, the best five-eighth the game has had and ever seen, apart from Wally Lewis. Its not just that he was a great player, but also a great leader, and a great captain. He won the Golden Boot in 2000 and led the Roosters to win the 2002 Grand Final, and be finalists in the 2003 and 2004 grand finals. He also captained NSW 14 times and Australia 20 times.

He has played a great part in NSW's Origin wins, never giving up when it all seemed hopeless. I would have to say that his greatest match was in his comeback match in 2005. when made a charge-down as the time was slowly ticking down and raced to score that magnificent try. That scored NSW victory.

Though he may have never scored a Man-of-the-Match award, he has inspired the team to win. His skill is flawless and he sets up the tries with the halfback, and often, is overlooked for the award. Though, we all know that he has played a great part in NSW wins. He deserved one though.

  2. Ok, first to the person that answered above saying that Brad Fittler is the best five-eighth ever, i say you are somewhat blinded and confined to only the last 15 years... There was a man, maybe you've heard of him... i don't know... but he came from Queensland and his name was something like Wally Lewis... ring a bell???

There's a reason there's a statue of him outside of Lang Park... There's a reason people both north and south of the border call him "The King."

Okay now to answer the main question... Even as a Queenslander i agree that Brad Fittler was a good player, particularly in his younger years... He had probably one of the best left foot steps in the game at the time... His most memerorable origin from a QLD point of view would have to have been his last where he scored that charge down try in the final minutes... It was a fitting end to a great representative career...

  3. **** yeah he is awsome

  4. I'm not a fan of brad fittler i don't think he is a great footy player, sure he was good when he played but wasn't great
