Why would Brad and Anglina have to conceive through in vitro?

Maybe cause she wasn't falling pregnant the natural way, she wanted twins(as you're highly likely to have twins this way) or she used this way as perfect timing to fit around her future plans.. Just some guesses.

According to US magazine, they were too busy to wait to have it happen naturally. They wanted the kids as quickly as possible, but it could take several years of trying naturally before she became pregnant. In vitro took out the uncertainty.

They wanted to get pregnant "as soon as possible", and didn't want to wait who knows how long for a natural conception. They want all of their children to be close in age.

I think they opted for in vitro treatment cause the chances of multiples increases, maybe they wanted to try to have multiples.

Maybe they wanted twins.

It was kinda obvious, I mean, they got twins, and a boy and a girl. A lot of celebrities are doing it, cuz they have a chance on picking genders, and multiples if they want, especially the older celebrities if they think this is going to be their last pregnancy.

I don't know that they did conceive through IVF . . .

It is a personal decision - maybe they had fertility issues and needed a bit of help from science.  There are plenty of young couples that struggle to conceive but it becomes more difficult as you get older and at 33 and 44 years old . . . they could be having some issues.
