Brad fittler was better than andrew johns and darren lockyer true or not?

so many test caps played for australia at 18 had the best state of origin in his last game just so many accomplishments through out his carrear and just a allround better player than the other two

I say he was better than Joey only because, Brad didn't take any illigal substances during his career.  But between Freddy & Lockyer, I don't know but would give the edge to Brad as he was more creative.

No questioning that Lockyer and Fittler were legitimate all time great players and i would have them in my team but if i needed a genuine match winner who can kick tackle run and turn the game around when he wants it to happen, i would definitely takes Johns, but that's not taking anything away from Fittler,Lockyer, or any other great player of the past like Sterling Mortimer Walters Kenny Daley Langer Lewis and could go on for an age with past and current players.

Brad Fittler was a 20 minute player, talented enough to inject himself into a game when the opportunity arose. I compare him to Bobby Fulton. Andrew Johns was the playmaker and was there for 80 minutes. Lockyer was taken out of his natural position of fullback where he was the best of his time. I think this move has shortened his career. Brad Fittler is not a noted defender and didn't like the dirty work. Johns was a great defender and stood in the middle of the line. If I had to choose one of them to win me a grandfinal, I'd take Johns every time.

i honestly think joey johns is the best player that has EVER strapped up a pair of league boots. so did alot of other people before his drug fiasco, but now ever 1 seems to have changed there tune. he should never have touched any illicit drugs but that still doesnt take away his talent. a talent in which i believe is not comparable to fittler. lockyer and fittler. now thats just too close to call. .... how can any 1 say fittler is better than lord joey. im not even a newcasle supporter, go the bunnies.

Freddy was the best 5/8 in my opinion but Joey Johns has the ability to see 4 or 5 plays ahead.Regardless of his drug issues Andrew Johns is the greatest player of the modern game.

Different styles of players, but I rate Lockyer ahead of Fittler.  Lockyer punched above his weight, still does.

Johns is good, but over rated.  He was a great halfback, but he was no Peter Sterling

nah i think that lockyer is a better player than freddy was but i think that freddy is better than Joey. Joey is way too overated and freddy was underated. Hes doin a great job as coach and getting the acknowledgement he deserves now tho.

Remember when Locky led the Kangaroos against the Poms.  44 nil at half time.  Not to mention 2006.  If he repeats that effort, he'll be the Best ever.

Johns didn't shine at the International  Level.

Which I think is the Ultimate test.  Freddy went well leading the Kangaroos '96 World Cup, but often failed at Origin.

im not just saying this because im a roosters fan but yes i think so i mean his records and carrer have been so good and even his coaching at the moment has been fine and i personally think johns was over-rated i mean yeah he was good but not the greatest in the game and same with lockyer i think he needs to play a few more games and prove himself to match up to fittler
