Bradford & Bingley Bank rights issue.?

Shears now @ 32p. Is it worth taking the rights issue. I see no growth in B&B. And a take over would be at a discount.

Impossible to say - we're in unchartered territory here.  It's not the same story as Northern Rock, but as most of us got our B&B shares free, anyway when they de-mutualised, there is no real loss if they hit the floor.  I'm staying clear of the rights issue, because I don't know enough about what's going on.  Any money held by B&B is guaranteed by the govt. up to £35k and they're talking about raising that soon,
