Bradford Bulls coach warns outfit to get rid of “bad habits” or else - Rugby

Bradford Bulls’ coach, Mick Potter, has warned his players to shrug off their bad habits or else they will have to pay heavily. This warning comes as they are marching into a clash against league toppers, Wigan Warriors, tonight at the DW Stadium.
Last week, as Hull KR beat the Bulls, their dreams of booking a play-off spot were also lost, which has angered their coach a great deal. He thinks that something special needs to be done to improve on the current situation or else  Bulls will have to pay
the price.
On the other hand, Wigans, who top the league hierarchy have recently been warned by their coach , Michael Maguire, that tonight’s super league fixture  should not be taken lightly.
This was reinforced by the coach as Wigan’s are closely followed by Warrington Wolves who take up the second spot with only a point away from the premier position of the Warriors.
Any minor slip in today’s clash against the Bradford will cost Wigan to lose their lead within the league hierarchy which they do not want to miss out on at any cost.
Tonight’s showdown at DW Stadium has a significance of its own as either sides are extra cautious of their performance.
Warriors have been told to keep themselves entirely focused on tonight’s clash for the mentioned reasons, despite the final showdown of the Carnegie Challenge Cup lined up a week away, on August 27, at Wembley.
According to Bulls coach, “They showed signs they were improving but then they fall back in the same old habits again. It’s not good enough. We fix up one thing but then have to revisit things from other weeks that we fixed up. It’s like we have no retention
of things we learned. We fall back into some bad habits, yet at times we’ve shown we can play some good football and come up with some really good plays.”
It was further mentioned by the coach that despite showing signs of improvement, Bulls revert back to their poor performance display which needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
He also mentioned that being a coach he always strives for perfection but recursively it is not reciprocated likewise by his outfit.
While talking about the slack in Bradford’s performance, the coach said that if they are failing to produce the desirable results that make it very clear that something else needs to be worked on.
He further added that his squad is far from being perfect and definitely needs a lot of work in that area which needs to be realised by the Bulls too, if they desire to improve their situation.
