Odsal stadium based English rugby league club, Bradford Bulls, have handed over a full-time professional contract to their winger Gareth Raynor. Officials at the club have confirmed the signing of the new two-year deal with Raynor in a statement released
on their website on Sunday, July 16.

Raynor has expressed his excitement on signing the contract with the Bulls. He added that since his joining with the club, he has not been satisfied with his performance and he is looking forward to further improve his performance and contribute positively
to the club’s success.
Raynor has praised the Bulls coaching and development facilities. He added that with intensive training and development sessions have helped him to attain higher fitness levels.
Raynor further added, “I've probably never trained as hard at any time in the last five years as I'm doing now at Bradford. That's paying off and hopefully it will start to pay off for the team as well.”
The Leeds born Raynor made his professional senior club rugby league debut for his hometown team Leeds Rhinos in 2000/01 season. He played only four games for the Leeds Rhinos.
At the start of the 2001/02 season, Raynor signed to join the Hull Kingston Rovers (Hull KR). He made Hull KR his home and remained at Rovers for eight seasons.
The 33-year-old Raynor made 185 appearances for Hull KR and scored 404 points, all coming from 101 tries. At the end of the 2009 season, he switched over to Crusaders where he played seven games and scored 16 points in the season.
Later, in August 2010, Raynor joined Bulls on a short-term contract. He has made 15 appearances for the Bulls and scored 24 points so far.
Bulls head coach, Mick Potter, has expressed his delight on Raynor’s stay at the club. He termed Raynor’s contract as a reward for his hard work, commitment and dedication to the club. He added, “He has been playing well and he's a good type of guy, as far
as the kind of people you want around the place.”
Potter praised the manner in which the Raynor had adjusted to the club’s culture and playing norms. He further added, “I’m happy to have him around for another year and it doesn't matter how old he is. He can still cut it with the best of them.”
