Bradgate Star looking to add a hat-trick to her record with a victory in the Grade OR Betfred Mobile Sprint Trophy
Bradgate Star will cause a stir among the bookmakers for the Grade OR Betfred Mobile Sprint Trophy on 12th March, 2012. The race at Nottingham for £150 will be run over a distance of 305 miles.
Bradgate Star will be challenged by Romeo Gallant, Corleones Dondon, Salacres William, Romeo At Risk and Farneys Mark.
The daughter of Droopys Maldini, out of Delightful Glin, has been racing at Nottingham for most of her career, with the exception of two races which took place at Sheffield.
Trained by L. Cook, the black b***h will be running for her hat-trick in this race. She has already acquired two first place finishes looking to extend her winning streak with this one.
She caused a race upset, as she defeated the favourite, Monleek Sloopy, by ¾ of a length in the Grade OR Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy held at Nottingham on 27th February, 2012. She finished the 305 metre track in 18.21 seconds,
where as her opponent finished it in 18.27 seconds.
Trained by P. Timmins, Corleones Dondon is also a tough competitor who is looking to give Bradgate Star a serious run for her money. He was on a hat-trick, but this streak was broken by a finish in third place.
The race that broke his winning streak took place on 27th February, 2012 at Nottingham. He was defeated by Dynamo Joe, who finished first in 17.78 seconds and Farneys Mark covered the distance in 18.06 seconds. His own winning
time was 18.07 seconds in the Grade OR Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy.
He led to a staggering victory in the race after that, which took place at the same venue on 5th March, 2012. This time the son of Ballymac Maeve, out of Corleones Flyer, showed his true potential as he defeated, Masada Scolari,
by 3 lengths in the Grade OR Molson Coors Sprint Trophy.
Farneys Mark, son of Montos Mark, finished first in his previous race, which makes him tough to beat in this race.
He delighted the bookies, and his victory helped them cash in their bets. He was the race favourite and maintained his lead throughout the race. He defeated, Strange Ozzy, by 2 ¼ lengths, in the Grade OR Bettor.com Betting Exchange Sprint at Shawfield
on 3rd March, 2012.
This performance was preceded by another stellar performance which he finished as a runner-up on 27th February, 2012. He was defeated by 3 ½ lengths by Dynamo Joe in the Grade OR Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy.
The bettors are particularly interested in Bradgate Star, based on the fact that she might secure a victory and complete her hat-trick. She will attract bets because of her familiarity with the course at Nottingham.
Corleones Dondon will attract bets for more or less the same reason. He has been racing at Nottingham for most of his career and has shown consistency.
The contender looking to finish third is, Farneys Mark, based on his performance, but racing at Nottingham may be less beneficial for him.
