Norwich City’s English midfielder Bradley Johnson has called the entire squad to continue their hard work and build upon last season’s success and performances.
The midfielder is determined to hit the ground running once the new Barclay’s Premier League campaign resumes this Saturday. Norwich begin their campaign with a game against Fulham, and Bradley has urged his teammates to replicate the form and fight that
saw them survive their first season in the Premier League following a double promotion from League 1.
Bradley featured in the Canaries’ 2-0 defeat at the hands of German club Borussia Monchengladbach at the weekend at Carrow Road. The player, along with manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chris-c9006 Hughton was disappointed to have lost the match, and admits that the team’s lack of prolificacy
in front of goal was something they will have to improve on.
The defeat to Monchengladbach is the third time in a row that Norwich have failed to score. The Canaries’ last goal came against Ajax courtesy of an Anthony Pilkington free kick. However, Hughton remains confident that the squad will find its scoring boots
soon.
Bradley Johnson had a very impressive season for the club in the last Premier League campaign, and is looking to pick off right where he left off.
Talking to the club’s official website, Bradley said:
“I’m ready to go. I’ve had a good injury-free pre-season, and hopefully it stays that way.”
“I started well last year. I didn’t know what to expect from the Premier League, but I got my head down and worked hard. I’m going to do the same again this year and hopefully I can do enough to be in the starting line-up next week.”
“Last season taught me that there are players in this league that can win a game by themselves, and the less mistakes you make, the more chance you have of winning.”
The player then reflected upon last season’s mistakes and shortcomings, and admitted that mistakes in the Premier League are costly, and if the club hopes to survive another season with the big boys, they will have to work on their finishing and ‘get in
the opposition’s faces’.
