Bradley hot favourite for Champion Hunters´ Chase
Bradley has won the best odds for the Champion Hunters´ Chase at Cheltenham in England on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. A cash prize of £4,679 will be awarded to the winner of the class-4 event.
The runners will have to cover an overall distance of 3 miles, 2 furlongs and 110 yards, which will test their endurance today. Furthermore, the going will be soft in the race, which is scheduled to start at 19:20 GMT.
A total of six runners have been attracted towards the event and their names are as follows: Bradley, Keenan’s Future, Turko, Offshore Account, Palypso De Creek and Trifollet.
That’s Rhythm, trained by Miss Sally Duckett, has been rule out of the race because of a setback. He was in good form and could have made a solid impression in the race, had he taken part in it.
Looking at the impressive form of Bradley, the bookmakers gave him pretty decent odds for the race. He seems to be in terrific shape at the moment, thus it will be hard to stop him from winning. Due to this, the punters are also likely to place the maximum
number of bets in his favour.
The eight-year-old gelding has taken part in seven chase events until now, winning three of them. He has also scored the same number of runners up positions, which means that there was only one occasion, where he failed to make it to the top three.
The Fergal O'Brien’s trainee was unable to win his most recent race, despite the fact that he was rated favourite to win. However, he still managed to finish second overall, which was not a bad result in the end.
Bradley will be partnered by Mr M. Wall, who has managed to win 11 chase events. However, his strike rate is not much impressive and he needs to be a lot more consistent in order to attract more bets in his favour.
The bookmakers also expect Turko to make a solid impression in the race, as he has got quite a lot of experience to his name. He has entered 25 chase events until now, winning just six of them.
