Is he 3rd Talent wise after those 2 or further down the list?

NOTE: The GREAT Brett Favre was not mentioned because his future is STILL up in the air.

  1. I'm putting Big Ben 5th, after Drew Brees and Eli Manning.  And I don't even know why anyone has Tony Homo near the Top 10 list. Try not choking in a playoff game then try to get on a list

  2. After Palmer and Farve.

People have forgotten about Big Ben because the steelers arnt doing as well as before but he threw 32 TDs last year and had a rating of 104. He is definitly underrated.

  3. 1.brady

    2.manning

    3.palmer

    4.brees

    5.romo

    6.favre

    7.rothesburger

    8.manning

    9.garaad

    10.hasselback

  4. With better receivers he would be higher but, he's not. Maybe fifth in the AFC, MAYBE...

  5. Not counting Favre, he is 4th behind the two you mentioned and Carson Palmer.

  6. 3:00 pm

  7. After Romo

  8. hey allan w first off the steelers are a running team and your trying to say just because he hasnt thrown the ball as much as everyone he is less talented give me one guy who is mobile strong and has a freat arm like ben in the league today. and also his offensive line was terrible and he was sacked 47 times second in the league tht cuts away on his attemps and one reason why we dont throw as much and even with the less passes he still managed to throw 32 tds 3rd behind romo and brady also with only 11 ints so whose better than him after all tht

haha i would say he is pretty high up he has alot of potential but what about drew brees carson palmer btw i am from pittsburgh and a huge steeler fan im only 13 and where do u think he stands do u think he is 3rd

just elaborating on what u said on ur details i tottaly agree tht been is more clutch and if we are going by clutchness i would say he is a tie with peyton or even number 2 behind brady manning is an amazing qb with a tremendous arm but has only gotten over the hump once in 10 years ben has matched tht in 4 and has also went 13-0 in is first regular season what do u think about tht

  9. In the pack behind those two somewhere in the 4-5-6 range.

  10. you just might be right. this guy in he first season went 13-0 and in his second year he won the superbowl. if he had a top notch receiver(randy moss, t.o, reggie wayne), he'd be #1 talent wise.

  11. Only a Steeler fan would rank him 3rd:

Don't confuse talent with the ability to have a good QB rating on possible the best run first team in the NFL.  His team is afraid to depend on him more for fear of what will happen.  Of all starters to start at least 12 times last year, only Boller, Tavaris Jackson, Vince Young and Jeff Garcia threw less passes per game.  Sound like good company?

Talentwise, here are some guys who are better(and yes Favre will be back!)

    -Favre(legend)

-Kurt Warner(best QB rating all time)

-Pennington(Randy Moss agrees, nuff said, google it)

-Palmer(if big ben was this good he would be relied upon just as much)

-Cutler(you may not agree now, but will be singing a different tune in a few months)

-Vick(if only he weren't in jail!)

There are also a slew of guys just as good as big ben:

    Delhomme

    Bulger

    Schaub

    Mcnabb

    Hasselbach

    Brees

    -probably even more

  12. 1. P. Manning

    2. T. Brady

    3. D. Brees

    4. T. Romo

    5. C. Palmer

    6. B. Roethlisberger

  13. if he's back, favre is 3

    brees is 4

5 is a tossup between roethlisberger and palmer, and i would give the edge to palmer as he is underrated because his team isnt as good

6 is then by default ben

    7 i would go mcnabb

    8 romo

9 pains me but i have to put bratty little brother here by virtue of what he did in the playoffs last year

and rounding out the top ten i would probably have to say hasselbeck, who is another guy i hate, then just outside are that loudmouth rivers, gerrard, and then jason campbell

  14. Lets see

    3.  Drew Brees

    4.  Phillip Rivers

    5.  Eli Manning

    6.  Tony Romo

    7.  David Gerrard

    8.  Vince Young

    9.  Carson Palmer

    10.  Jason Cambell

Out of the top 10 between 10 and 20.
