Braided or Short for English Pleasure/Equitation?

I have a show THIS SATURDAY! and i dont know if im suppose to braid my QH mane. i am useing him for western pleasure/horsemanship and halter so his mane is going to be short. should i leave it like that or should i braid it for the english classes... and how would i braid it if it's that short???

You never pull a mane that is too short to braid ,,

I would Not braid him if it is a small show if rated yes for the English and then take out for western ,, or just leave it alone

It its to short You cant braid it You can put rubber bands ,, Like they do for western

Just split the mane evenly and put one rubber band in it to stay down ,,
