There are five doors, one leads to the exit, the others lead to traps. They are in a line. The clues tell you which position the doors are in the line and where the door to freedom is. All the clues are true. Each door has a clue written on it. The clues read:

The blue door: This door is two spots away from the door to freedom.

The red door: This door is at the far right, and is two spots away from the blue door.

The purple door: This door is not next to the door to freedom.

The green door: This door is left of the blue door.

The orange door: This door is not next to the red or blue doors.

  1. The answer is the orange door.

    Reason:-

1.the red door is at the far right, and two spots next to the blue door. The statement implies that the blue door is at the middle.

Thus so far the arrangement is:-

    ________//__________//blue door//_________//red door.

2.The green door is left to the blue door. Clearly,it's no. 2 if you count from the left side.

    Therefore,the arrangement-

    ________//green door//blue door//_________//red door.

3.The orange door is not next to the red or blue doors. clearly,it's no. 1 if you count the doors from the left sides.

    Therefore the arrangement-

    Orange door//Green door//Blue door//_________//Red door.

4.Only one place is left blank. Obviously it's the place where the purple door should be.

    Thus the complete arrangement-

    Orange door//Green door//Blue door//Purple door//Red door.

Now,the door to freedom is two spots away from the blue door. So it must either the red door or the orange one.

But given, the purple door isn't next to the door to freedom. So Red door's not the one to freedom.

Therefore, the orange door is the answer.

  2. The orange door

  3. from left to right, the doors in order of color are Orange, Green, Blue, Purple and Red...That means only Orange or Red.  But, it cannot be next to the purple.  That leaves only Orange on the far left

    Good one :-)

  4. orange

  5. Orange.

The red door is on the far right, forces the blue door to be in the center, the green door is on the left of the blue, the orange cannot be next to the red or the blue, therefore it's beside the green, leaving purple. The purple cancels out red being the door, and the blue is two away from the freedom door. Two away from blue = red and orange. Therefore, orange.

  6. Purple Door

  7. is it the orange door

    which is the first door

  8. THE ORANGE DOOR!!!

    am i right??

  9. The Orange Door is the door to freedom.

The Red door is at far right and is 2 spots away from the blue door. The door to freedom is 2 spots away from the door to freedom. We know Red is at the far right and 2 places to the left is the blue. Green is to the left of blue, purple is not next to the door to freedom and orange is not next ot red or blue so the doors are lined up as such:

Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Red with the Orange door being the door that leads to freedom.

  10. The Purple Door.

  11. The orange door leads to freedom.
