Well, brains are more important! Because if you play your cards correctly you could become a rich inventor, teacher, engineer, entrepreneur, or any other job. So you can have money and smarts if you have a brain. If you get the money, then you will just spend it on random things. You won't have the sense to save it or do something smart with it because you won't have a brain. So brains are more important!

Money is fleeting, brains (hopefully) last.  Barring accidents, or a problem in old age.

Brains also, realize that they are more important than money, and can be a help to society in many ways.
