'On the farm' is one of my latest videos on YouTube. It's a breif reality check on how, as children, we were introduced to the lives on animals.

  1. I know where meat comes from and I still enjoy it at least 12-15 meals a week.

  2. We are totally brainwashed from birth in this society.  From day one we're told that cows who live on a beautiful open farm love to give us milk.  What they don't tell us is how that cow is a mother in a factory farm who was forceably impregnated, fed a diet of drugs, and has her calves taken away to be chained up in veal crates so human can drink the milk meant for their babies.

  3. But how do we know that that livestock wasnt raised in a sub-standard facility in a 3rd world country?  How do we know if that meat wasnt meant for human consumption anyway?

I actually want to learn more about the subject to find out if there is way to make it more efficient. They say that raising livestock has a huge impact on the enviroment.

I agree with the saying  "do not believe everything you see or hear"  So how do we know that PETA isnt bullsh!ting?  It is clear and obvious they have an agenda.  Just wanted to point that out.

  4. good work!

I think that some people might really need to see the live footage taken by the undercover investigators that come and film in these places. (in order to really get the message across)

having a narrator explaining the methods used was also very effective for me.

thats what finally pushed me across the line, into quitting meat for good.

I feel sick when I think about all the meat Ive eaten in my life. meat that was a product of so much misery, fear, and pain.

  5. You are mixing what food is meant for nourishment and  food that is meant for garbage (C S Lewis)

  6. I agree. My cousins had a farm, and the animals there were treated with respect. So until I was about seven, I always thought that's how all farms were. It's so sad.

  7. It's good.

  8. Most people don't want to think about where their meat comes from.  Ignorance really IS bliss.  At least until the heart disease and cancer comes along.  Oh, wait, we can just blame those on cell phones and video games.  High fat meaty diets have nothing to do with it.

  9. I don't enjoy it.

I hate cruelty to any beings.

  10. i have a pet cow named princess, and if any meatsuckers get near her i will kill them. what ppl dont realize is that the animals on those "farms" are as intelligent as any dog or cat. would you eat a dog or cat? i think that meat is here for us to eat, but i doubt it is here to be tortured, cramped, and fully concious when killed. what is wrong with ppl! how could they eat meat when they know what it has to go through?!
