did braith anasta make the nsw selectors look like bumbleing idiots on friday night against the eles by not picking him for origin game 1.

A player like anasta shouldnt have to prove anything he is a big game player a senior player and can lift much like a freddy fittler style player especially last year and this year hes on fire .

just wait and see he,ll be rushed in the nsw side in game 2 ,maybey even pearce .

i think the nsw selectors picked a really bad side this year fullstop, there were more players that should have been in the team and some that are in the side shouldnt be... good luck to the nsw side but have afeeling QLD will take the first game. as for Anasta he is hot and cold i think he needs to be good for a couple of weeks in a row for them to pick him.

anasta has been and will always be a has been.if you see him wearing a blues jersey then he is not on the team.he just trying his old blues jersey .one of the most overrated player in nrl.there are  so many blues supporters not wanting to see him again in the blues team.bird will put a poo on his head any time.anasta being pick for the second game.you gotta be kidding.

anasta used to be hot and cold. Over the couple of years he's developed into a really strong player, and he guides the Roosters a lot more well than Bird guides the Sharks. The tables even say that. Anasta is the type of player that will try hard every game and loves the big games, also the origin team has 3 other roosters players. Big mistake not choosing anasta we lose game 1 and if the selectors use their brains and pick anasta game 2 then we win.

yeah anasta is the form 5/8 this year he can do everything.. worst selection puttin wallace & bird at 5/8.. greg bird is a top player but cant kick so i dont kno why his been put there.. as 4 pearce.. i dont think soo lol his not that good yet

The selectors are morons for not picking him in the first place. Any money if the blues lose the first game he will be called into the squad. I love the blues but I think they will get smashed in the first game.

anasta is about as consistent as a Sydney train running on time, thats why he was overlooked for origin 1!

look at the facts.... he's never completed an origin series (all 3 games) because he cant play 3 good games in a row.

sure im an eels fan and i can admit he played gr8 last night, but i dont think he will play as good next week! he's to hot and cold..... kinda like Brett finch!

Anasta is to hot and cold. One game brilliant and next game not so. Anasta has been tried in State of Origin before and has been good one game then shithouse the next. I think the selectors have done the right thing at this stage. Just because he plays one good game does not mean the NSW selectors did the wrong thing, Anasta's form prior to the game against the eels was not to flash. He played shithouse against the Knights, Dragons and only just passed mustard in the City v Country game.
