Brak wants to know, "When will oil prices drop again"?

It just rose to $98 a barrel this morning and the average gas price in the US is $3 a gallon again.

I fear that we will hit $100 a barrel soon.

What can we do to help drop the demand?

I'm already helping by driving much less and gassing up every other week.

we should all stop shopping for clothing ,gas,takeing unnessary trips just stop buying period!

The next supply shock that will send oil prices shooting higher will come from Russia and arrive in 2008.

In Russia, the forces are already clearly at work that will produce that spike.

Maybe later this winter when everyone stops travelling for the holidays.

Thanksgiving and Christmas is coming up so demand is rising.

I use cruise control on highways to save gas.  I am also only driving to and from work.  I don't drive anywhere else.

I'm sure you will wanna do something this holiday.  Maybe visit your family or visit Space Ghost for Christmas.
