Brak wants to know, "Why won't the flood lights on the RBC Plaza in Raleigh light up every night"

Most nights it just has it's red beacons.

I have never sen it light the crown & spire with flood lights. But I have seen pictures of it.

The flood lights make it brighter at night.

Lots of places throughout the country have removed pointless lighting such as flood lights. If they did not have a security or safety purpose they were probably removed. Energy prices have sky rocketed.

The building is still under construction.  Maybe they are waiting until it is finished before they turn them on full-time.
