I have a 95 honda accord. When I come to a complete stop I notice my car starts rolling and my brake pedal starts to lose pressure and i have to press on the brake down even further to stop it rolling. I looked at the pads and they are good. Anyone know what can be causing this?

  1. Your master cylinder is bleeding back.

  2.   If your not loosing fluid at any of the wheels then your master cylinder is going out and you won't get many chances.Change it now Good luck

  3. I would put money on the master cylinder being the problem. If you are confident with tools, you can do it yourself, but if not, that is a job that is best left up to the professionals.

  4. Sounds like the seals in the master cylinder are leaking through, allowing the pedal to relax.

  5. If there are no leaks at the wheels, it's either your master cylinder or your flexible brake lines.  They can rot from the inside. Air gets into the system this way, and causes pedal fade. Drain the existing fluid and replace the MC and the flexible lines, then refill and bleed the brakes. If you don't have the experience, get it done professionally.   Bleeding the brakes can be tricky.  Use the proper brake fluid for your car. Ask at the dealer or a Honda repair shop.  If all of the above doesn't work, your steel brake non-flexible lines may need to be replaced as well, if they are rusted out. Total brake failure is not fun.  It's definitely off the road time until you have it resolved.

  6. check the fluid level you may have a leak if thats ok try pumping them and see if they get stronger if so they need bled

  7. Maybe low on brake fluid?
