Brake override code for a XO Vision 1915bt?

Does anyone know how to override the brake for watching dvds on a xo vision 1915bt? If not, whats a way to run the brake wire so it could play movies at anytime?

First step is to see if simply grounding the brake wire works. I'm only saying that in case you haven't tried that yet. Sometimes this doesn't work however, because the head unit wants to see ground on the brake wire a few seconds after it sees ignition.

If you have tried that and it didn't work, then one thing that can be done is to put in a 12 volt switch, between the brake wire from the radio and ground, and cycle it once you have started a car and the radio has come on. This will make the head unit think you have applied the brake after the radio was turn on. Crude but effective. You can pick up one of these switches at any auto parts store.

There are more complex ways and there are even little boxes that will provide ground to that wire after the ignition, but this is the easiest and cheapest.
