  1. it is reccomended that you bench bleed a master cylinder before installing it on the car. if you didnt do that  you probably have air trapped in the master itself. you can bleed it on the car with help. pump breaks hold...open front master line...close. pump...rear line..close...repeat.

    try that...thats my educated guess.

wow, dont listen to him, lol. there is a proper way to bench bleed...the cyclinder comes with the plastic line inserts too! you s***w those into the line holes on the master...connect the two tubes to the nipples of the plastic caps...fill the master with fluid, put the lines into the master, put it on a vice, use a big flat tip s***w driver to push the main cylinder in on the back of the master...do this until you have no more bubble(air) in the cylinder....

wow, man, dont speak if you really dont know. and 28 years? wow. lmao.  or you can do it on the car like i described.

  2. replaced master cylinder? well if master cylinder was replaced all 4 wheels must be bled to make sure there is no air at all in system. rear brakes adjusted properly and no fluid leaks  then brakes should work properly. brakes should be worked on by a professional, there is a proper way to bleed the master cylinder (bench Bleed) be fore installing in vehicle then the brakes at all 4 wheels have to be bled in proper sequence
