Brampour most likely to deliver the goods in William Hill Hurdle at Kempton
On Kempton’s good two miles, five quality horses are set to show their magic in the William Hill Hurdle on Sunday, October 21st. According to our calculations, Brampour and Get Me Out Of Here are the ones to consider, with the former having the higher chance of making an impression on his seasonal comeback.
Brampour made a couple of outings early in the year, but could not produce a positive result. The 5-year-old is returning to action after a good period of more than seven months, and looks quite fresh.
The Paul Nicholls-trained performed superbly last winter, when sealing two consecutive triumphs. He proved too good for the opposition at Royal Ascot last October, when winning the Williamhill.com Handicap Hurdle (Listed Race) by half a length.
Owned by Arron & Katya Banks, the son of Daylami did not relax after one good win, and continued the great work. In the hand of Harry Derham, he registered a comprehensive win at the graded level, when beating Olofi by two and a half lengths in the Grade 3, Greatwood Handicap Hurdle.
Considering his last winter’s tremendous work, one can easily expect him to come up with a special effort. He alongside other participants will start running at 16:25 GMT - the race’s official starting time. The winner of this class 2 meeting is going to receive a handsome prize of £9,697.
The main danger is Get Me Out Of Here, who went on a long vacation after doing a wonderful job in April. After missing the crown narrowly on three occasions, the Jonjo O'Neill-trained added the finishing touch, and won the Grade 2, Keelings Irish Strawberry Hurdle at Fairyhouse.
Owned by John P McManus, the son of Accordion is also full of energy following a break. He is a classy hurdler with strong claims if revved up for comeback.
Out of others, no one looks to have bright chances. Alsadaa is opposable in a race of this nature. Australia Day won this race a couple of years ago, but this is a different situation altogether. First Avenue also looks outclassed on these terms.
