Brand New Cat Question?

okay so we just got a cat. it is pretty fat.

at lolly pop (where we got it) it didn't have snot running out of it's nose but now it does. its like dripping. i keep wiping it than like every 10 minutes there is more.

whats wrong with my cat

It needs a vet checkup, there are a lot of things that can cause it.  Also would need to know age, body condition, and give it a physical exam before I'd guess.

Take your cat to the vet to be checked for a respiratory infection ASAP.  Every cat we've gotten from the humane society has gotten sick within a few days of bringing them home, and one got so sick, he was hospitalized and we almost lost him.  

There are medications that will help him, but do not give him anything for humans as that is very dangerous.
