Brand New Raquet - No bag? No dampener?

Question

Hello everyone.

Well I've just recently graduated and my dad bought me a KBlade98 for a present. When I received it I didn't get a bag nor a dampener. They told him that such racquet doesn't include neither of those things.

Is that true? I want to get my money's worth, What should I do?

Well when i got the head microgel radical it came with both which surprised me a bit. But tha dampener sucks. I usually buy my own. And for the bags i have a 9 racquet bag so all the cases don't really matter. I'm not sure with willson though. But Kblade98 is a good racquet, so i would expect people to already have a bag for it

yea, when you get good quality racquets, it no longer comes with that stuff...its not great, but oh well.

Most people that buy players racquets already have a bag so they would not want to pay for a bag they would just put in the closet and never use. A bigger bag is better to have because you can put other things in them.

Tie a rubber band on as a dampener. If you take a look around most courts you will find some dampeners laying on the ground.

my Head racquets didn't come with a dampener either, but it's such a great racquet it doesn't really need one. They did come with a bag though.

Just Buy a dampner or a bag!

Usually when you buy a raquet, it dosen't come with the bag or dampener. That you buy additional. Dampeners usually only cost like, $1, but bags can vary from like $15-$100.

yes sounds normal 2 me, my babolat pure drive came without both.  wilsons a bit diff i know but my brothers wilson...um the one novak plays with... came without a bag. yeah i think that sounds normal.

Some come with a bag, some don't. I have k six one tour 90 (fed's racquet) and that didn't come with a bag, however Nadal's racquet (Babolat AeroPro Drive (Cortex)) came with a cover. So, it's just the manufacturers. And, usually if you are willing to buy an expensive racquet, you'll probably have a 6 racquet or 12 racquet bag anyway's. I just gave away my Babolat bag since I have a 6 racquet bag.

Neither of the racquets came with a dampener. I've seen a dampener on the cheapy racquets at walmart (like Head) though.
