My uncle purchased a Haier Plasma TV in March. He went on vacation before opening the TV. When he got back, he moved and still didn't open the box. Finally, a month after he moves in, I'm installing the TV for him. It was brand new never used right out of the box. First thing we noticed was a small crack on the bottom left corner on the screen. When we plugged it in, there was no picture. It was all black and the screen wasn't on at all. The sound was just fuzz. I tried everything. I checked every connection at least 10 times. My uncle got a guy over to look at it and he said there was no hope. I wasn't there so I don't know if the guy was any good or qualified at all. Any help guys? It's brand new but I'm pretty sure it's past warranty.I have a Vizio flat panel TV. It was hit and the screen inside the panel busted. My question, is it costly to have the panel replaced?
