  1. it is probaly the gun, but it would have helped if yyu would ahve listed ur items.

  2. Guns are picky about pellets.:

Take at least 50 shots to break it in!

Anyways, thats the fun of airguns! You have to experiment and find out what pellets work best.

"Michael" gave you some good advice about the pellets. Pellet, weight, shape, make, can all make a difference.

Some good quality pellets to try.

It's unlikely that it's the rifle.

Springers generally take 500-1,000 shots for an initial break in period, but that has more to do with the function of the rifle, not it's accuracy.

Scope - The scope could be loose, this frequently happens with spring piston air rifles

It could be you or the way you are holding your rifle. Spring piston air rifles are "generally" very sensitive to hold.

If you are trying to sight-in over sandbags, this usually does not work very well with most air rifles.

"Hold" - If you are right handed - Find the balance point of your rifle with your left hand - Allow the rifle rest in your left palm, do not squeeze the rifle -  The butt of the rifle should barely touch your shoulder - You have to allow a springer to "rattle" for it to shoot accurately -

To sight-in I prefer to use something like a rolled up towel, then rest my left hand on the towel.
