Brand new lawn mower will start but wont stay running what do i do????

Make sure that the oil level is correct in the engine. A lot of small engines have a low oil level or a low oil pressure that will shut the engine down. If there is to much oil in the engine or if the oil level is low the switches will keep the engine from running for long. The engine will usually start back up each time but only run a couple of minute before shutting down again.

bring it back i could have been returned because somebody took out a piece or something ask for a new one or your money back

Try leaving it alone for a while. If you live in a warm area such as Florida, it may have overheated, and needs to cool.

Check to see if it has enough petrol in the tank. Make sure you prime it as well.
