Melo’s second best performance since joining Knicks
The All-Star forward scored his second best high score of 36 points that included 19 points in the third frame of the game. The player pinned two straight three-pointers to break his team’s six game losing streak and choke Orlando Magic. Not only that, he
also grabbed 10 rebounds in the hard earned win.
Howard’s efforts to keep Orlando from the fall
Dwight Howard posted 29 points to keep his team in the game against the New York Knicks. The player grabbed 18 rebounds finishing on a 9 for 17 shooting from the field and 11 of 15 free throws in 46 minutes on the floor. Although his team failed to win but
the player made his impact with his performance.
Young’s spirit boost
Thaddeus Young came off the bench to take care of his team. After being instructed by the coach to “boost his spirits”, the player really did bring out the hidden spirit in him and pinned 21 points in 24 plus minutes of action. Young finished on a 10 for
16 shooting from the field, grabbed seven rebounds and also made two steals on the opposition while snatching Bulls a home game winning streak that consisted of 14 wins.
Rose- definitely disappointing
Although he gave away a call for summon by giving up a large number of 10 turnovers, but he got lucky and the opposition could not secure shots on any but the last two. The Bulls guard who later took the blame for the loss posted 31 points, dished out five
assists and grabbed four rebounds as the Bulls fell down a 97-85 loss against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Miller uprooting the Spurs
Andre Miller made a big contribution as the Blazers routed the league’s best team, San Antonio Spurs at their home. Portland’s guard guarded the team very well and scooped out 26 points finishing on a 9 for 15 overall shooting; he notched 8 for 10 free throws
in the win and scored 11 in the final round to overcome an eight point shortage while going towards the big win.
Hill’s pushing the Spurs ahead
Despite the loss, Grant Hill was awesome. The Spurs guard scored game high 27 points and recorded an 11 for 20 shooting from the field. In addition to that, the player also grabbed six rebounds in 38 minutes of action.
Wall’s wall tough game
The Washington Wizards recorded a 72.2 percent shooting in the second stanza of the game. John Wall had 10 for 11 shooting from the field in the opening half of the game. The 2010’s first draft had 28 points in the victory, with seven assists and six rebounds

Favors’ favorable performance
