Brasil: Increase ethanol production, reduction production of corn?

What do u think about this phenomenal problème...

Nowadays, a lot of countries decided to increase their production of new natural fuel such as ethanol, but this way involve a plumet of corn/soja production to feed people ?

  1. It is the same with everything- every action has a consequence , some good and some bad.

In America the use of corn to create ethanol as an additive for gasoline was actually started as a way to help out farmers because there was such as huge surplus of corn.  It makes sense then when you realize that it takes more than a gallon of gas to make a gallon of ethanol to substitute for gasoline.  It isn't at all environmentally efficient, but then that isn't the goal.  It's a welfare program for farmers and way to keep the money of special interest corporate farms who have lobbied congress.
