The Technical Secretary of Valencia played down Unai Emery’s remarks about Jordi Alba and claimed the transfer speculations as product of the rumour mill.
Technical Secretary of Valencia, Braulio Vazquez, came out in the open to talk about the future of Jordi Alba  and claimed that Los Che have no agreement with Barcelona to sell him.
He added that the Mestalla phone bells have not been rung by their Catalan counterparts and the Spanish international is still contracted to Els Toranje. The head of the Valencia technical secretariat was speaking at the presentation of Los Che’s 2012 U.S.
tour that starts from next Monday, May 21.
"In no case http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordi-c19110 Alba is sold to Barcelona."
"We have not received any firm offer."
However, the technical secretary was coy over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordi-Alba-c19111’s future at the Mestalla and did not give a definitive answer about what may happen in the coming months.
Vazquez stated that the right-backs’ agents are currently evaluating the offers they have received about Alba, and intimated that one of them is by his current employers.
"They will be evaluating all offers that have come to them, including the expansion and improvement of contract raised by the Valencia."
In addition to the intriguing future of Alba, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Braulio-c8019 Vazquez also took out time to talk about Tino Costa. He acknowledged that several teams have voiced their interest in the Argentine international but stated that they are in no position to make a judgement
about him.
The witty administrator stated that Valencia hold http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Costa-c9458 in his valuation, pointing towards his standing as the fifth most capped player by Los Che during the course of the 2011/12 season. He added that Mauricio Pellegrino will have the final say on the matter
as he will be handling squad matters as these.
"However, we must wait for the new-coach http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mauricio-c24899 Pellegrino. Tino is a very valuable player and from the institution only want him to continue, although I cannot completely guarantee that he will continue here, neither him nor any other player of the squad,"
he said.
