Brave The Times courageous in the Bookmakers Midi Dup
The Grade OR Bookmakers Midi Dup has pulled together some really commendable talent for the 550 metres flat race that will be hosted by Henlow on Thursday, 8th November. Majority of the line-up has already struck success at the level that they
have to race across tonight, and even those who are trying their luck at it after a gap, have been successful in their own domain.
The blue jacket for tonight, Brave The Times, has earned himself an important spot, and is backed by 2 to 1 odds.
Head Bound’s son has been racing at the open level since late July this season, with two training sessions in between. His form and winning stance has been remarkable throughout the tries, however it was during the most recent outing that he side tracked
the most.
The three-year-old black dog struck a back-to-back after his second last training session.
The Derrick Atkins trained was prominent in the Coral On TV Stayers Trophy – Heat 2 on 24th September, 2012 at Romford over 575 metres. The blue jacket put his pace into a high gear early on, and took charge from the third position. It took him
35.68 seconds to complete the trip.
Missing the winner’s prize money by 2 ¼ lengths was, Young Fizz.
The black dog out of, Brave Pony, completed what he started by winning the final of the Coral On TV Stayers Trophy on 28th September, 2012 at Romford. Once again he had been allotted the second trap, from which he burst into speed, saved ground
by rail and reeled in for the wire from the second position. His racing poise had him settling the race in 35.65 seconds while leading by three lengths.
The first trap, Coolvanny Fairy, became entitled for the runner-up’s honour.
The last attempt became a victim of getting crowded which eventually ended up with him finishing at the sixth position. He had raced from the third trap on the losing occasion.
The favourite entry for the race will once again put on the blue jacket. Reviving back into form will get him giving a hard time to the rest of the lot.
