Brave The Times to stretch his winning run in August Midi at Henlow
Wearing red jacket, Brave The Times is geared up to crush his rivals in the August Midi, taking place at Henlow on Thursday, August 02, 2012. Winning two of last three races shows how good form he is in these days.
At the start of last month, the black dog suffered an awful defeat at the hands of Hi Rumble. He got crowded at the first bend and as a result, finished fifth on the table. The Derrick Atkins-trained quickly got his act together, and displayed an excellent
show last time around.
In a 550 metres race, the son of Head Bound dominated the proceedings from pillar to post, seizing the first rank by a length’s distance. After such an emphatic victory, the dashing hound is pumped up with confidence, and will be the one to beat today.
Among his opponents are: Hey Kiddo, Midway Rouble, Fishing County, Sundance Saffy and Gottabe Kinda. The 550 metres race is scheduled to begin at 22:00 GMT. A cash prize of £150 will be given to the best performer.
Midway Rouble is unlikely to trouble the judge. The white and black hound is not in good form now a days, as he finished fourth behind Mountleader Rory last time out. So, the son of Top Savings cannot be trusted blindly.
Hey Kiddo ran well on last two occasions, but in defeat. So, he needs a slice of luck to fancy his chances in today’s race. Fishing County recently stepped up to the open level with a huge bang, when winning a similar race by three lengths.
However, the fawn dog suddenly lost his rhythm, and fell at bottom of the table last time. After a horrible defeat, it will be very hard for time to bounce back.
Gottabe Kinda requires something different in order to come out of his lean patch. The black dog was defeated by Brave The Times last time, and we don’t expect him to dish out revenge tonight. Victories have dried up for Sundance Saffy, thus the punters
should try their luck somewhere else.
One needs an extra special performance to outclass Brave The Times tonight. The black dog is on song these days, and will be very hard to beat. Good luck to all the runners.
