I'm just trying to remember the good old days when my Bravos were actually challenging for something! God I miss the good old days. The last 15 years for me have been great even when my boys were losing several games in a row. Maybe trading Teixeira will work out for them in the end. I did appreciate what he brought to the Braves even if it was only for a little while. What do you think of the Manny Ramirez trade to the Dodgers? Will it place the Dodgers in a spot to dominate their division? I think Mannys defense is incredibly suspect but his pop is awesome and almost no one is as good when their down 0 - 2 and a fastball is coming! Talk to me!

  1. ditto dj's answer

  2. It's becoming very hard for me to continue to support my home town team when the owners and Frank Wren have shown no dedication to putting a winning and competitive product on the field.  I do miss those years that the Braves dominated the NL but remember that was with Ted Turner, who, once he figured out what he was doing, really tried his best to put a winning team out there.  Trading Tex was a HUGE mistake, he wanted to stay here but the ownership team has no intentions of paying the money for a top tier player.  They let a lot of very good players just walk.  It's getting hard to do it but I guess eventually it'll get better.  JUST BRING BACK AN INDIVIDUAL OWNER!!!!!! Companies owing teams is contributing to the decay of professional sports.

  3. fu$k the braves- go cardinals

  4. Good for them. Its good to know they snapped that five game losing streak, but they are still 9 games back from my Phils.
