Braxton Hicks contractions...?

okay been having what i think are Braxton Hicks contractions.

the times i'v been having them are

1:27pm

1:29pm

2:10pm

2:40pm

4:10pm

4:20pm

4:26pm

4:38pm

4:46pm

are those times more like Braxton Hicks contractions then lobour??

been loosing my plug over 3 weeks and now its greeny snot whick was told is bits of the plug. also after s*x with my hubby its been gettin period like pains for hours and is a constant pain which gets stronger then mild.

its like a period pain that starts of mild and gets stonger then goes away

  1. Contact a Doctor/Midwife, If you live in the uk you can phone NHS direct (there no. is 0845 46 47) they are normally helpful and can advise you what to do next. If you are from another country there may be simular local services avalible to you.


  2. Are you currently 35 weeks?  Your baby is considered preterm but no doctor will subject you to medication to stop labor.  You may be dehydrated.  Drink a few glasses of water (and empty your bladder).  If the contractions don't stop or if you see ANY vaginal bleeding or sudden change in vaginal discharge contact your physician or midwife.

  3. That does not sound like Braxton Hicks.  You should call your doctor.

  4. How long do they last? They say when they are  a good 5 mins apart than it's real. Maybe try calling l&d see what they say. Drink lots of water. Good Luck!
