Hello! I am going to Brazil in a week for a grad school class and am faced with packing for the trip. I will be there for two weeks. I will be in Vitoria, Sao Paulo and Rio (Rio is only one day of sightseeing). In Vitoria and Sao Paulo I will be visiting companies and doing some sight-seeing. What types of clothes should I pack? Is it going to be cold/hot there during that time (7/5-12). Are companies generally business professional or casual? As a woman, is there any added safety precautions I should take? Etc. Thanks!!

  1. bring casual and business

  2. July is winter here in Brazil,so advice you to bring some warm clothes because although the day could be hot it get colder at night.

  3. It is going to be VERY hot. Bring shorts and T-shirts for when you're not working.  Also bring a swimsuit to cool off in the ocean while in RIo. I would reccomend business clothes for your work. Wear a black pencil skirt with a colored blouse. Also, keep your purse in a safe place =)
